Anita Garvin portrayed Stan Laurel's wife here, her last work with the boys until Laurel persuaded her to interrupt happily married life with bandleader Red Stanley in order to come back and take a small part in SWISS MISS (1938). Eyeing this scene is world-wise Charlie Hall as the porter, looking dubious, as well he should be.
