A different vintage print of this still (Charlie Hall's own copy) was published in Dean McKeown's book, together with the original sixty-word caption, which does not mention Charlie Hall! This second vintage print, cropped for use in the November, 1927 issue of PHOTOPLAY MAGAZINE, shows a dejected Buster Keaton with a happy Hall, Keaton's opposite number coxswain on their competing rowing teams, in this scene from the 1927 Keaton feature film, COLLEGE. The leading lady was Anne Cornwall, the co-director was James Horne, and the co-scenarist was Carl Harbaugh, all of whom contributed to important Laurel & Hardy comedies throughout their prime years.
